Craziness at Fenway

I saw lots of things tonight at Fenway that I'd never seen before. A hitting coach thrown out. The manager thrown out. The closer loading the bases in the ninth and somehow getting out with a shutout inning and an 8-5 win over the Yankees. And craziest of all, a fan taking a swipe at the right fielder. Then the fielder taking a shot back BEFORE throwing it back in.

Jen and I were at the game with JS and his wife JS, sitting 20 rows up and one section over from the scuffle. It was a very tense game and my first thought was "Crap. We're gonna have to forfeit the game because of this idiot." Fortunately, Gary Sheffield didn't go into the stands and do his Ron Artest impression. Security got involved quickly and kept things under control. The picture is taken from our perspective not far from the altercation. How many cops do you count in that picture?
